Her
work currently has two main threads running through
it, firstly her landscapes, which are based on Dorset
where Clare lives, Exmoor near where she grew up and
The Middle East where she studied in the past and travels
to at every opportunity.
Clare
also paints Icons; images which emerge from her used
tear-off palettes and are linked to the idea that the
Turin Shroud is like an image emerging from shadow-shapes.
Clare
has been exhibiting increasingly both locally and further
afield. She has won prizes for her work and has been
given various prestigious commissions, both landscape
and portrait. Her work is in collections in Tokyo, USA,
and London and with many people including Robert Winston
(Lord Winston), Jean Corston MP and many other collectors
of her work.
