Miranda Cookson Miranda lives and works in Stoborough near Wareham. Early morning walks with the dogs are the inspiration for much of her work.The ever changing colours of the local heathland and New Forest are favourite subjects. Miranda works on silk but also does watercolours and acrylics in oils style. She trained as a teacher majoring inA rt but painting was only an occasional hobby while the children were growing up. Working on silk started quite by chance after taking friends childrent for a wet afternoon silk painting course and got totally hooked.
