(means royal rose i.e. shah + rose) brings the many influences
of her multicultural global background to her work.
She is fascinated by releasing the beauty of found objects
by combining them with gold; silver; glass; ceramics and
natural pearls.
Her jewellery often reflects the subtle creative tension
between the physical properties of found objects (e.g.
beach glass) and the defining forces of nature over time.
Shairose explores the relationships between line; form;
texture and colour to create mixed media jewellery that
is both exquisite and totally unique.
Every piece of jewellery is totally unique. She combines
a harmonious rhythm of shapes with glazed surfaces full
of depth, richness and movement. The natural forms which
inspire her, and which she sometimes incorporates into
the piece, help her to create an emotive and beautiful
whole
